UPDATE MAY 8, 2020

Per the BC Restart Plan, I will be reopening services effective May 16, 2020. I am very excited to offer sessions and coverage again after many weeks of uncertainty. Please be sure to read my health & safety guidelines around COVID19 and how sessions will be conducted moving forward and until further notice. Thank you everyone for your patience! I look forward to seeing your faces again! 🙂

As our numbers start to slow down, Dr Bonnie has advised that there will be no large gatherings this year. As of now, the gathering limit in BC is still 50 people or less and Social Distancing measures must be implemented.

The BC State of Emergency has been extended until May 12, 2020. In light of this, our numbers have slowed and it’s recommended by Dr Bonnie Henry to go outside and it’s less likely to spread COVID-19 outdoors.

While it was not mandatory for me to close down, I felt that it was important to consider the risks with our numbers still increasing effective April 15, 2020. With things taking a change in a positive direction and the province looking at opening up in phases, what does this mean for sessions with me? I will be opening up sessions again over the next few weeks once we hear more about BC’s reopening plan with the following guidelines:

  • Outdoor sessions only
  • Social Distancing measures must be implemented (6ft minimum)
  • No handshaking or touching
  • I will wear a mask
  • A maximum of 2 people will be allowed on crew (Jamie + 1 Assistant)
  • A maximum of 5 people will be allowed on set – may change in coming days (Including Jamie + 1 Assistant)
  • There will be no sharing of equipment and everyone is responsible for their own belongings
  • I will not enter any homes or offices

Sessions that I will be looking to open up for booking:

  • Lifestyle Headshots
  • Personal Branding (2-hour sessions only)
  • Product photography (to be done in studio with Jamie only)

For more information, please reach out through my contact form with more information for what you’re looking for and we will determine a safe way to conduct your session.

On March 15, BC called a state of emergency. Things have changed very rapidly since then and it’s been a bit of a roller coaster of a month for us. Right now, Working from Home and Social Distancing are encouraged and it’s become a norm for us to stay home except for essentials.

For the health and safety of our families, at this time, I will not be offering any in-person sessions or meetings as recommended by industry professionals and to allow time for our communities to become healthy again. If you’re looking to book a branding session, a virtual consultation and planning session are still available.

I am still available to discuss potential projects and will continue to share session and project inspiration on Instagram. For everything else, I’ll still be reachable via email.

Stay safe everyone!
